ISLAMABAD: The data shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Sunday morning revealed that the country has recorded the second highest number of Covid infections in a day since the beginning of the pandemic. Pakistan has reported 7,586 Covid cases in the last 24 hours.
The number of Covid related deaths has also gone up with the country having recorded 20 in the last 24 hours alone. The positivity ratio has jumped to 13 per cent, up from 11.10pc yesterday. Sindh has reported the highest number of infections, followed by Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Meanwhile, 647 people recovered from the coronavirus during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,268,245. Pakistan has recorded 29,097 deaths from Covid so far.
