ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Pak-China Business Investment Forum was launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The forum aims to enhance the business relations between the two states.
From China and Pakistan 18 and 19 companies respectively will become part of the forum. The collaboration is done between All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises and the Board of Investment Pakistan. The cooperation will help Pakistan develop the industry, encourage sustainable investment and exports.
During the event, the prime minister emphasised on increasing exports and further enhancing the industry. He said that Pakistan could have become an industrial society if former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had not launched the nationalisation programme.
He further added industrialisation is necessary to increase exports, the government is now focussed to enhance the industrial sector and boost exports.
