ISLAMABAD/LAHORE: On Monday, the senior leaders of opposition parties had a meeting in the presence of legal advisers over the ‘no-confidence movement’. President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif and Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Head of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), met Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari at his residency.
According to senior leaders of the opposition, all the pre-requisites for the no-confidence motion are completed, and soon the public will witness the implementation of plan.
Yousuf Raza Gillani, Leader PPP, said they had received the briefing from the legal team, and the opposition has achieved the numbers they required. He added that the situation would be clear by Tuesday after PPP’s long march arrival.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the public demands the no-confidence motion, and it’s the first step for a better tomorrow. Maulana Fazlur Rehman briefed that nation will soon see satisfactory outcomes.
Earlier, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari gave a 24-hour ultimatum to Prime Minister Imran Khan to dissolve the assembly and submit his resignation.
