CALIFORNIA: After the Advanced Camera for Surveys of Hubble telescope resumed its operations, the engineers at NASA made another successful recovery by resuming the operations of Wide Field Camera 3 on Sunday.
The Wide Field Camera 3 is the most advanced instrument of the space telescope as it is responsible for clicking images in a visible spectrum. The team at NASA is also working on modifying the camera’s parameters allowing the device to manage synchronisation messages that are mostly missed. The modification process will take several weeks to be finalised and applied.
Other instruments of the Hubble Telescope are still kept in ‘safe mode’, and engineers are inspecting the issue of missed messages, due to which the most advanced telescope was kept under the safe mode on October 23.
