Popular model and actress Sunita Marshall talked about raising children in an inter-religion marriage. In a podcast with Nadir Ali, Sunita said that before getting married, her husband Hassan and she mutually decided what religion their children would follow. The Baby Baji star recalled that it was a joint decision that the children would follow the Muslim way of life.
During the interview, Sunita said that she is living with her in-laws and believe that the grandparents can give better religious education to their children rather than leaving the children in the middle to choose a religion of their own accord.
While shedding light on inter-religion marriages, Sunita said that now it has become a trend that parents who belong to different religions leave it to their children what religion they should follow.
The Mera Saaein famed actress said that she is against this trend because socially children are known by their father, and we are living in Pakistan where the father, grandfather, and grandmother of a child are all Muslims.
