The missing mountaineers Fazal Ali and Shehroz Kashif have reached camp 3 after they had gone missing in Nanga Parbat.
Earlier, Fazal and Shehroz were reported missing while they were coming back after summiting Nanga Parbat.
Home Secretary of Gilgit Baltistan, Hussain Khan, confirmed that both were seen descending from camp 4. A rescue operation was also launched when Fazal and Shehroz went missing between camps 3 and 4. An update was also shared on the official Facebook page of Shehroz Kashif, stating that the duo were approaching camp 3. It added that they showed great resilience and managed the situation in the death zone.
Fazal and Shehroz started the journey on Monday and covered their mission to summit Nanga Parbat. Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP) Secretary Karrar Haidri said that Kashif aims to cover all 14 mountains that are over 8,000 metres.
