ISLAMABAD: On Friday, Minister for Interior Affairs Sheikh Rasheed talked to the media following the Supreme Court verdict on the no-confidence motion voting in National Assembly on Saturday. The minister said he advised mass resignations from National Assembly as the last resort.
According to Rasheed, three months ago, he had suggested Prime Minister Imran Khan and the PTI government to submit their resignations and dissolve the National Assembly. However, no one took his advice seriously, but he would still suggest the prime minister to resign from the post.
Rasheed claimed of interference from foreign powers to topple the government. Regarding the Supreme Court decision, he said that the public had shown disappointment towards the decision.
