Karachi is set to experience additional rainfall today, with humid weather continuing to grip the port city. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted showers in various parts of the city, with partly cloudy skies prevailing throughout the day.
Rainfall was recorded on Sunday in several areas, including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, University Road, and the Old Sabzi Mandi, providing brief relief from the otherwise oppressive heat.
The PMD has also forecast sea breezes with wind speeds ranging between 10 to 30 kilometres per hour over the next 24 hours. However, the high humidity levels are expected to make the temperature feel up to five degrees warmer than it actually is, adding to the discomfort of Karachi’s residents.
Today’s minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 27°C, with the maximum temperature expected to range between 31°C and 33°C. As the city navigates through this humid spell, residents are advised to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions to cope with the heat and humidity.
