ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued the notification to lower the power tariff for K-Electric consumers. The notification stated to reduce the power tariff by Rs2.15 per unit on account of Fuel Cost Adjustments (FCAs) for October 2022. NEPRA has also added that the lifeline customers are not subjected to the relief.
The decision will provide the K-Electric consumers with a relief of Rs3.59 billion. Previously, NEPRA had reduced the power tariff by Rs5.13 per unit on account of FCAs in September.
NEPRA will later release a detailed statement for the latest relief.
