ISLAMABAD: The Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) will commence the 48th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) conference. The two-day conference is being held in Islamabad under the agenda of ‘Partnership for Justice, Development & Unity.’
During the conference, a keynote address will be delivered by Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. The Kashmir and Palestine issues are core topics of the agenda.
The members will also discuss countering Islamophobia, peace & security concerns, cooperation for science & culture, development for the economy and a session on Afghanistan. Foreign Minister & State Councilor of China Wang Yi will be the special guest of the meeting.
During the session, President Islamic Development Bank Dr Muhammad Suleiman Al-Jasser, OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, and Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Faisal Bin Farhan Al-Saud will also address the members. Foreign ministers will also attend the Pakistan Day parade on March 23.
