ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Khan has demanded to form a commission similar to the one designed for the Memogate scandal for investigating the foreign conspiracy against his government.
Mr Khan’s counsels, Chaudhry Faisal Hussain and Imtiaz Rasheed Siddiqui, submitted fact statements in the National Assembly statement’s suo motu case. The statement urged for the formation of a commission that could analyse evidence of foreign conspiracy and take action against the horse-trading by politicians who had brazenly subverted the law.
The statement further said that foreign governments, through well-placed officials, disliked the independent approach of Khan’s government. Mr Khan said that the opposition movement was funded by entities that did not want Pakistan to build an independent foreign policy.
