Imran Khan declared successful on all seven seats of National Assembly by Election Commission of Pakistan

The Election Commission of Pakistan has released the notification of the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan’s victory on seven seats of the National Assembly in the by-elections. ECP has issued the official notification on Thursday. The decision was reserved by a five-member committee under the headship of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja.

The notification of success was on halt because Imran Khan did not provide details about the expenses spent on the election. Imran delayed the submission of the election expenses details on National Assembly Constituency NA 22, NA 24, NA 31, NA 108, NA 118, NA 239 and NA 45.

Since now the former prime minister forwarded the details, the Election Commission of Pakistan provided the verdict in which they stated that Chairman PTI has submitted the details of the election expenses. According to the recent notification, Imran Khan has been declared victorious on all seven seats of the National Assembly.

Earlier, Imran Khan had requested the ECP to release the notice of success after he provided the details. ECP had reserved the decision last year on December 26, 2022, which was pronounced today.
