Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Imran Khan has said there is no possibility of martial law in Pakistan. In an interview with a private news organisation, the PTI chief said if the public is not on the same page then how can the martial law be imposed.
Regarding the situation of elections, Imran said that PTI would not follow the constitution if the elections are not organised within the time period of 90 days. Imran added that the opposing parties want PTI to be weakened and him to be killed or arrested. He also said that a mafia group was attempting to divide the judicial system for its own benefit.
Imran also commented on the economical situation of Pakistan. The former prime minister stated that in the past 30 years, the economy of India and Bangladesh improved while Pakistan’s deteriorated.
He believes that the economy of Pakistan showed improvement during his tenure. He once again called out General Bajwa for conspiring to oust his government. Imran said he continued to provide a benefit of doubt to General Bajwa. However, he later realised that Bajwa was behind the conspiracy against the PTI government.
