According to the daughter of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf key member and Sindh’s Opposition Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh, he has been “kidnapped” from his hotel room in Lahore at 3:30am by men in civilian clothing. Ayesha Haleem Sheikh took to Twitter in early hours of Wednesday to tweet about her father’s disappearance.

She did multiple tweets and shared the CCTV footage of the hotel from where Sheikh has been detained. She added that the family contacted Punjab Police but it did not have any knowledge of the incident.
The PTI leadership also expressed its shock at the arrest.
