The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Friday launched a short number 9999 for mobile subscribers to be able to make donations towards the prime minister’s Flood Relief Fund 2022.
Users can donate Rs. 10,00 to the Flood Relief Fund by typing “fund” in the SMS field and then sending the money to 9999.
According to a statement released by PTA regarding this, the telecom companies will inform the National Disaster Management Authority regarding the donations received.
