ISLAMABAD: The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has decided to retain Pakistan on the grey list. According to Marcus Pleyer, FATF President, Pakistan has made good progress by implementing 30 points of the two concurrent action plans but still has to implement the remaining four points.
In the three-day conference, it was also decided that since Pakistan had completed the majority of the goals, it would not be demoted to the black list.
FATF said that Pakistan is yet to act on an important point of nominating the individuals to the United Nation’s list of terrorists.
