CALIFORNIA: Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, has hinted at changing the name of the popular social media site, Facebook, by next week. The agenda will be discussed at the annual conference of the company which will be held on October 28.
It is pertinent to mention here that the company is facing severe scrutiny from the US government. The business practices conducted by the organisation remain under the radar.
The decision of rebranding will also illustrate the company’s policy for the metaverse which is based on virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). The metaverse initiative was taken so that different users can interact through a virtual environment.
