Australia’s men cricket team’s Test captain Pat Cummins has said that the team was excited about touring and experiencing Pakistan for the first time, adding that everyone was in good place. He was speaking to AFP.
Cummins and his men are set to arrive in Pakistan over the weekend. Australia remain the only team who have not played in Pakistan for 24 years. Speaking about the security arrangements, Cummins said that everyone was comfortable and commended the job done by the security and logistics team.
“We’ve got to a place where everyone hopping on the plane is comfortable with where it’s all sitting,” said Cummins while talking about the prospects of touring Pakistan. Australia are scheduled to play three Tests starting from March 4 in Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore, and three ODIs and one T20 in Rawalpindi.
