Emirates took to Twitter on Thursday to announce that it will start daily flights from Dubai to Tel Aviv from December 6. The news does not come as a surprise as the two countries, the United Arab Emirates and Israel, have softened up to each other since September last year.
Emirates, rival airline, albeit a low-cost carrier, Fly Dubai, is already operating commercial flights from UAE to Israel. With the announcement, Emirates has become the recent UAE carrier that has extended its services to Israel.
