KARACHI: On Wednesday, the value of the US dollar continued to increase against the Pakistani rupee as the dollar gained Rs1.2 in the interbank market, closing at Rs185.56.
Earlier, the dollar had closed at Rs184.44 on Monday as the rupee resumed a downward trend after gaining some stability following the success of the no-confidence motion. Meanwhile, in the open market, the dollar is being traded at Rs186.50.
On the other hand, the per tola rate of gold was also hiked by Rs1,050. According to the Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association, the new price stands at Rs133,200 per tola.
