Covid positivity ratio rises to 0.92pc

ISLAMABAD: The Covid positivity ratio continues to spike as it has jumped to 0.92 per cent in the last 24 hours. According to the latest tweet by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), medical authorities conducted 38,038 tests resulting in 350 confirmed positive cases.

Sindh remains on top in reporting the most number of the coronavirus cases with 166. Punjab reported 82, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recording 76 cases. Azad & Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan collectively reported seven cases, while Islamabad reported a total of 19 infections.

During the last 24 hours, nine more deaths occurred due to the coronavirus. The number of critical cases has dropped slightly to 1007 patients.
