The police officials claim to have arrested the mastermind of the suicide attack at Confucious Institute at the Karachi University. The attack had left three Chinese nationals and one Pakistani dead.
The suicide attack was carried out by a female suicide bomber, Shari Baloch. The mastermind is said to be the commander of the Baloch Liberation Army and the Baloch Liberation Front – both banned outfits.
Physical remand of the suspect has been granted to the police officials by the court. According to the officials, the suspect was arrested from the Mauripur area after the Counter-Terrorism Department conducted a search operation.
