Chairman PTI Imran Khan was arrested by the National Accountability Bureau team with the assistance of Rangers. According to sources, Rangers officers arrested the former PM from the premises of the Judicial Complex, after which he has been shifted to the NAB Rawalpindi office.
News sources added that former PM Imran Khan was arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust & Tosha Khana cases. Chairman NAB issued the warrant against Imran on May 1. On May 9, he was arrested by the NAB team. Security officials said that Imran was arrested after showing a legal warrant. Chairman PTI will be produced in the concerned court for remand.

Islamabad police Tweeted that the situation in Islamabad is normal. Security authorities have imposed Section 144 in the city and warned that action would be taken in case of violation.
