ISLAMABAD: Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly of Pakistan, the Pakistan Peoples Party leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he supported the call of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of initiating a judicial inquiry to investigate the infamous May 9 riots across the country.
Bilawal said that he stood by the PTI’s call on a condition that they would accept the findings of the judicial commission. He stressed the need for the formation of the judicial commission, stating that it would allow the Pakistani politics to move forward.
He appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa to authorise the formation of the judicial commission.
