QUETTA: With the no-confidence voting just a few days away, the federal government continues to get setbacks from Balochistan as MNA Mohammad Aslam Bhootani has announced to part ways with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and support the Pakistan Democratic Movement in its efforts to oust the government.
Earlier, Balochistan Awami Party had also sided with the joint opposition against the incumbent government. According to a statement by Mr Bhootani, he shares family relations with Asif Ali Zardari and could not ignore the Pakistan Peoples’ Party co-chairman. The leader of BAP Khalid Magsi also threw his weight behind the PDM, stating that they wished to resolve issues of the country.
Jamhoori Watan Party, led by Shazain Bugti, had already announced to vote in favour of PDM. Bugti was assigned as Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Harmony & Reconciliation in the province.
