Pakistan’s batting sensation and all-format captain Babar Azam has gone past India’s arguably modern-day limited-overs batting legend Virat Kohli as the longest top-ranked T20I batter. The news was unveiled by the ICC after its updated ICC T20I rankings.
Kohli had previously held the record with 1,013 days. With Babar extending his stay on the top, he now sits on the royal throne alone. Babar is currently ranked no. 1 ODI batter as well.
He has expressed his wish to become the top-ranked Test batter too.
