ISLAMABAD: District authorities have sealed the Faizabad intersection and called in the law enforcement authorities who have blocked the gateway to the Federal capital to halt the banned political party Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan from marching forward. TLP is protesting against the decision of not expelling the French ambassador.
Police have also raided the residence/seminary of chief of TLP Rawalpindi Wing to arrest him but have been unable to do so. He was earlier arrested on Friday but got released after the party had a dialogue with the government.
District officers from Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Khushab and Bahawalpur will assist the Regional Police Officer of Rawalpindi Imran Ahmar to tackle the disturbing law situation.
