DUBAI: Afghanistan star spinner Rashid Khan has requested fans of both sides to stay peaceful during the Pak-Afghan T20 world cup encounter here on Friday.
The former T20 captain of Afghanistan said that the 2019 incident was unfortunate when the fans indulged in fights in the ground.
“I request all the fans to stay cool and calm and just enjoy the game. What happened in the 2019 match should not have happened,” said Rashid.
He pleaded with the cricket enthusiasts to not get emotionally involved and keep game as a game.
“Definitely it’s always a good game against Pakistan, but this should remain as a game,” he added.
