Pakistan reports zero Covid deaths for eighth consecutive day

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan last reported any Covid death on April 3, marking April 11 the eighth day in a row that the country has not reported even a single Covid death. According to the National Institute of Health Pakistan, the positivity rate stands at a meagre 0.43 per cent.

A total of 22,525 people were tested for Covid during the past day, of which, 98 returned with positive tests. The number of patients needing critical care stands at 269 in the country at the moment.
