ISLAMABAD: On Friday, the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) updated the winter vacations schedule through its Twitter handle. The winter break will begin on Jan 3, 2022. Areas that are affected by the smog will follow the schedule according to their environmental conditions.
A meeting was held between Federal Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar, Minister of Federal Education Shafqat Mehmood, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan and NCOC officials.
The schedule was finalised after the meeting, which would be notified by the provincial bodies. Sindh has already announced to commence the winter vacations from Dec 20.
Previously, the education ministry had announced the holidays schedule starting from December 25.
