One of the most widely used chatting platforms, WhatsApp, has started to test the feature to send files sized to up to 2GB. The Meta-owned app currently has limited the ‘Send Files’ capacity to up to 100MB.
The portal has started to test the new feature in Argentina for the beta test mode. In addition to that, WhatsApp has also decided to implement end-to-end encryption in call logs.
According to tech news portals, the application will introduce encryption in version 2.22.8.7 and will be launched on Google Play.
