KARACHI: Amid the monsoon rain in Karachi, the Met officials have issued a warning of urban flooding for low-lying areas. The officials said that Karachi residents should expect rainfall of at least 50 millimetres. Thunderstorms and intermittent rainfall will continue throughout the day.
Yesterday, moderate to heavy showers were recorded in areas like Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, Korangi, Nagan Chowrangi, Godhra, Saddar, Lyari, North Karachi, and Surjani Town.
The system will continue till July 9. The citizens of Karachi are requested to prepare accordingly for the upcoming monsoon system as Eid-ul-Azha is right around the corner.
