LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced to cancel two off days in a week in government offices, reducing Sunday to be the only weekly off. He also altered the office timings and said that all staff members must report by 8:00am.
The prime minister issued directives to monitor Sasta bazaars and gave assurance of high quality items to people. He also ordered immediate implementation of minimum wages (Rs25,000) and increment in pension.
Shehbaz said that his government would work to serve the masses, and its guiding principles were diligence, hard work, honesty and transparency.
