Dadu: Within a day, twelve flood victims lost their lives due to gastroenteritis and malaria across the districts of Kandhkot-Kashmore and Dadu. Most internally displaced persons (IDPs) are suffering from these two diseases.
According to details, two people identified as Imtiaz Qambrani and Akbar Solangi died in Sita village. A three-year-old child, Misri Khoso, passed away in Shafi Mohammad Colony and a ten-year-old boy Rahim Chandio died near Mehar town bypass. Similarly, a business person Atta Mohammad Chandio and local actor Shah Rukh Khan died in Mehar. In Bukhar Jamali village, two women Budhi Jamali & Amanat Jamali passed away because of malaria.
In Mehar taluka, twenty people have lost their lives in one month. The district administration of Dadu said that 80 people died due to inundation and diseases.
