The proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has sprung back in action as it has allegedly issued a warning letter to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Atif Khan to either pay them Rs8 million or get ready to be killed.
According to the contents of the letter, Khan is on the wanted list of TTP Mardan. The banned outfit has given him three days time to respond or face the dire consequences.
Khan, while speaking to the media, said that he had indeed received the letter and the said letter had been shared with all the concerned security agencies. According to the provincial government’s spokesperson Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif, the letter will be investigated and action would be taken subsequently.
