Three soldiers martyred in terrorist attack on Pak-Afghan border

RAWALPINDI: On Tuesday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that three Pakistani soldiers were martyred by terrorists across Afghanistan. The terrorist group opened fire at Pakistan army soldiers at Kharlachi, situated in Kurram District – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Naik Maweez Khan (34 years old), Naik Muhammad Rehman (32 years old) and Sepoy Irfan Ullah (27 years old). The media wing of the army added that terrorists also suffered heavy casualties.

The statement said that Pakistan condemned the use of Afghan territory for terrorism. ISPR further stated that Pakistan Army would continue to defend the national borders against the menace of terrorism.
