ISLAMABAD: A Swedish national, who has been working with the UNICEF in Pakistan, since January this year, was allegedly raped by her security guard here on Wednesday.
According to the first information report (FIR) filed by her at the Aabpara Police Station, one of the security guards deployed at her home by the security company entered her room while she was sleeping. The report added that the guard tried to strangle her before raping her.
The Swedish national added that the guard only let her leave when she asked him to let her go the bathroom. The suspect, according to the police, is on the run.
