QUETTA: A suicide bomb attack on the truck of Balochistan Constabulary left nine policemen martyred in the Bolan District. Reports added that around 13 people got injured in the attack. The incident occurred at the Quetta-Sibi highway where the security forces vehicle was passing.
The officials of the Balochistan Constabulary were returning from duty after Sibi Mela when a motorcyclist rammed into the truck. The Balochistan Constabulary is responsible for the security of sensitive areas and important events.
According to SSP Notezai, the injured persons were moved to Sibi Civil Hospital. Bomb disposal squad and security authorities cordoned off the area. Emergency has been imposed across all hospitals in Quetta. As of now, no organisation has claimed responsibility for the attack.
