South star Vijay cries in disappointment after watching his first Hindi film Liger, claim sources

Sources claim that South Indian superstar Vijay Deverakonda has been extremely disappointed with his debut Bollywood film Liger. Several news organisations reported that the actor cried after watching the movie as he was not pleased with the final product.

Liger had a poor opening during the weekend. The movie was made with a huge budget of INR200 crore and was said to be a perfect script for Vijay to enter the Hindi film arena. But the response from the public suggests otherwise.

According to the box office numbers, the movie has hardly touched the INR50 crore mark. The Karan Johar-produced film was released on August 25 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Reviews suggest that Liger failed to leave an impact, and only Vijay’s performance stood out.

Fans criticised the director, Puri Jagannadh, for weak execution. Ananya Panday, who made her debut with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year 2, failed yet again to impress the masses.
