ISLAMABAD: Former express pace Pakistan bowler Shoaib Akhtar announced on Twitter that his mother passed away. He shared the details of her funeral prayers.
میری والدہ محترمہ رضائے الٰہی سے وفات پا گئ ہیں – انا للہ وانا الیہ راجعون۔
نماز جنازہ H-8 میں بعد نماز عصر ادا کی جائے گی۔My mother, my everything, with the will of Allah taala, has left for heavenly abode.

Twitter soon reacted to the news with former Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif extending condolences to Akhtar.
