Shehbaz Sharif takes oath as Pakistan’s 24th Prime Minister

Shehbaz Sharif lashed out on imran khan.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shehbaz Sharif took oath as the country’s 24th prime minister here at the Aiwan-i-Sadr. The oath was administered by President Arif Alvi.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by his elder brother Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the PPP chairmen Asif Ali Zardari – who is also running for presidency against Mahmood Khan Achakzai – and Bilawal Bhutto. The chief ministers of Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan also graced the occasion with their presence.

Prime Minister Shehbaz was elected the premier of the country after securing 201 votes against the PTI-backed Omar Ayub who could only manage 92 votes.
