GALLE: Pakistan Cricket Board released a statement on Thursday evening stating that the men’s team’s ace fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi will miss the second Test against Sri Lanka.
Afridi had sustained a knee injury in the first Test. However, the injury is not said to be serious.
The team management has decided to rest him. The second Test of the two-match Test series will start from July 24.
