PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s fast bowling sensation Shaheen Shah Afridi has been rewarded with an honourary DSP position by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police on Monday.
Afridi was announced as the “Goodwill Ambassador” of the KP police. Recalling his father’s linkage with the police, he said that his father had also served as a police offer in the province’s police force.
He lauded the efforts of the police officials assured them of his help whenever they needed it.
Left-handed opening batter Fakhar Zaman was also present at the ceremony.
