Shahbaz Gill accuses PML-N for attempt on his life

ISLAMABAD: A senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Shahbaz Gill, has accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz of being behind the car accident, which according to him, was an attempt on his life. He was speaking to the reporters outside the Islamabad High Court here on Friday.

Gill’s car met an accident at the M2 Motorway yesterday, leaving him and others injured. According to Gill, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Rana Sanaullah were involved as the PML-N leadership had initiated blasphemy cases against the PTI, hoping to get Gill and others killed.

Without naming anyone, he said that Maryam’s speech was not hidden from anyone in which she could be heard saying that they [PTI leaders] should be crushed. He refrained from naming anyone, but insinuated that the PML-N leadership was responsible for trying to get him killed.
