Rishabh Pant injured in car crash, condition said to be ‘out of danger’

Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant got injured in a car crash in wee hours of Friday in New Delhi. According to media reports, Pant felt sleepy and lost control of the car which shortly rammed into the road divider. His car caught fire but Pant luckily escaped without any serious injuries.

He was said to be returning from his hometown in Roorkee when the accident took place. According to the policemen, Pant got out of the car, which was already on fire, by breaking the windshield.

The CCTV footage of Pant’s accident was also shared by an Indian journalist.

The cricketing world was quick to react to the news and sent prayers and well wishes towards the Indian wicketkeeper batter.
