Rana Sanaullah threatens to crush PTI’s long march to Islamabad with more force

Living up to his notorious reputation of using all means to crush the voices of the opposition, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has publicly announced to squash the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march to Islamabad using much more force.

While he did accept the defeat of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz at the hands of the PTI in the by-elections, he did warn that if the PTI resorted to the long march, he would multiply the force used on Mat 25, 10 times, to dispel the PTI supporters.

He also said that the government was open to negotiations with Imran Khan, however, straightaway rejected the idea of the non-conditional dialogue. Sanaullah has not shied away from using force in the past. He has been accused of ordering the police personnel to open firing at the Model Town protestors back in 2014 too.
