PTI registers petitions across Pakistan against assassination attempt on Imran Khan

On Monday, the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf approached the registries of the Supreme Court (SC) across Pakistan and submitted petitions in which they asked the SC to form a judicial commission that will probe into the assassination attempt on Imran Khan. The petitions were filed in Quetta, Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore.

Former foreign minister and prominent PTI leader, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, talked to the media in Lahore and briefed that PTI had simultaneously moved to Supreme Court and submitted the plea.

He pointed out that the First Information Report (FIR) was not registered as Khan wanted. Qureshi also demanded a probe into the case of Azam Swati and the murder of Arshad Sharif.
