PTI accuses ECP of tampering Form-45s

Gohar Khan wishes for talk with establishment

ISLAMABAD: The leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf has accused the Election Commission of Pakistan of malpractices including tampering the Form-45, which has seen the voter turnout surpass the 100 per cent benchmark in some areas in favour of the candidates contesting against the PTI-backed contenders.

While holding a media talk, the PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that one could not move on from the electoral fraud even if they wanted to because of the rigging on such a large scale. Accompanied by the senior leadership of the PTI, Gohar said that the party would produce evidence which would bring to light the massive rigging that took place during and after the elections.

He said that the party would produce the original Form-45s and compare it with the ones provided by the ECP to show the vote rigging. He further added that the poll fraud had become crystal clear following the publication of Form-45s on the ECP’s website.
