PSMA and Customs officials foil attempt to smuggle drugs worth billions of rupees

The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PSMA) and Customs officials carried out a joint operation where they foiled the smuggling of drugs worth of billion rupees. The spokesperson of the PSMA briefed that initially, the smugglers threw the drugs into the sea in an attempt to remove the evidence.

However, the PMSA carried tireless efforts to recover 128 kilograms of Ice crystal and 2500 kilograms of Hashish from water.

According to the details, three boats have been detained with 19 smugglers. The arrested smugglers and narcotics have been handed over to Customs Enforcement for legal action and further investigation. During the past month, seven anti-narcotics operations have been carried out.

Over 13 billion rupees of drugs have been recovered, 39 smugglers are arrested, and six boats detained.
