ISLAMABAD: As the new government slowly takes charge of matters in Pakistan, the names of possible cabinet members and bureaucrats have started to emerge.
According to sources and a few media reports, Fawad Hasan would take charge as the adviser to the prime minister. He previously acted as the principal secretary during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure.
Further, MQM-P leader Waseem Akhtar would be appointed as governor of Sindh, while Akram Durrani would act as governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Sources further claimed that 25 bureaucrats have been finalised including Nadeem Mehboob, Abdullah Sunbul, Ali Murtaza, Rashid Langrial, Hamid Yaqoob, Imdad Ullah Bosal, Mohiuddin Wani, Nabeel Awan, Shaukat Ali, Yousuf Naseem Khokhar, Babar Hayat Tarar, Irfan Nawaz, Umair Ahmed Syed, Mujahid Sher Dil, Sajid Zafar, Ahad Cheema and Ahsan Bhutta.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would once again attempt to convince Pakistan Peoples Party to become part of the coalition government.
